Breaking News - Tap Drummer Lives
The percussion world is today coming to terms with the astonishing news that after two UK dates and promotional work for the band's new album 'Back From The Dead', Spinal Tap's latest drummer Scott "Skippy" Skuffleton is miraculously still alive.
The recent Wembley show was emotionally dedicated to those who had gone before him.
"This show will be dedicated to all of our drummers who have passed on, either to their reward or to middle management at Sainbury's."
David St. Hubbins.
There is confusion though as Wikipedia sites Skippy as 'fate unknown' and that Tap's current skin-basher is in fact some upstart by the name of Gregg Bissonette. Rumour has it that Bissonette will be attending Drumfest in Birmingham on July 12th and there is a theory that Skuffleton and Bissonette are in fact one and the same.
The plot thickens.

But is he joining the 600
I for one would if required be on the audition panel to see if he is up to our standard
and he could do his cause no harm at all by attending the select pre meet on the 12th at the Firkin Flapper or some such similar named hostelry, all he needs to do is make himself known to me with the obligatory pint of Stella and he's part way in
