Wasn't sure which kit to use. My main gigging kit is a Premier XPK, but i also have an early 60's Ludwig kit which my band don't like me using as its 'too cabaret'. Maybe i'll let it make a guest appearance?

Due to the slightly unsecure nature of the Chav-el-splodge car park, I reckon I'll just bring bare basics (enough to qualify from the World Record point of view), perhaps the Soundwaves or maybe the Artist Birch.

Prems though, unquestionably!

Does anyone remember what exactly qualifies as a drum kit from the World Record Point Of View? I thought it was snare, bass, Hi Hat, one cymbal and one tom - might be wrong though.

Hi Rob

I gave up on DW years ago Twisted Evil

Very Happy

As for double pedal, mine is staying at home, and I might even go with vintage hardware, (it's lighter!!)

Nah, not a massive DW lover (though I do like the hardware very much!) - and besides which, this is an British World Record, so I'm being patriotic and all that (is it still OK to be patriotic? Or does that make me a fascist these days?).

Unfortunately, Prem as a company needs all the help and exposure it can get at the minute, and a bit of positive press won't do 'em any harm.

Tyring not to fill the rest of this post with smillies.

I don't hate DW, I used to hire them in for years, but for my own use I love my Prems

And the kit i'm bringing is nearly visible on this video

I'll be playing my shiny new ddrum kit Smile

I've not been playing long, so the local press were quite interested in the drumming florist, shame they only used the first half of the beat and stuck it on a loop though

Hmmm,
it's nice to have a nice shiny kit with all the trimmings and I am sure you will agree that they dont play themselves. No good having that nice kit if you cant play it. Princey played my first kit which was an second hand battered thing and man did he make it sound good.....
