Bringing a Liberty Drums kit, will maybe bring a cut down version. Portability and all that like! Very Happy

Cut down to basics - Black REMO Mastertouch with Paiste Sound Reflection cymbals. Not sure what snare yet - REMO Piccolo, REMO 6" Mastertouch orrrrrr Premier Heavy Rock 9. Chunky Premier hardware and DW5000 Double kick. (dead give away I'm an old git)

Probably too much USA in it but will be like shooting them with their own gun. lol!

I've just had the photographer from the local paper round to photograph me at my kit. I'm hoping to bring in some more sponsorship.

I've settled on my English Rogers kit with a matching Ajax snare, 602 crash and ride and 5*Super Zyn hats. I have some vintage Ajax hardware but it's just too flimsy for words so I'm going to use the relatively modern Premier Lokfasts instead (still the coolest looking stands ever, after all these years). I took some photos today (on our equally vintage carpet): http://tinyurl.com/lksenn

Mark, your kit is fine! Stop worrying!

I'll be using my Pearl EX, charcoal metallic. But as a 4 piece, may as well keep it simple!

I'll only be bringing my hi-hats, crash and my ride for cymbals.

I shall be bringing selected bits of the only kit I've ever owned: A Yamaha 9000-series in white that I bought 2nd-hand about 20 years ago.
Most of the hardware's been replaced, but I still have the 16" & 18" Paiste 2002s it came with Smile

I've yet to work out what can a) fit into 6'x4' and b) be easily transported by the poor sods who're going to be moving it all around.
So compact and portable.

Oh, and hopefully I can fit the all-important cowbell on somewhere.

My chief concern with coming up with a kit for this event has been how it's going to get from the car to the space in as few pieces as possible (to help the poor buggers who've got to manhandle it there) and without cases.

Here's what I've come up with:

(Telly not included)

... which breaks down into exactly the same number of luggable items as the bare minimum, thanks to The Plumbing:

...which mounts on the kick drum and holds:
2 toms
a ride cymbal
a 14" crash cymbal
16" crash cymbal
a cowbell

I hope it doesn't collapse half way through...

i didn't manage to use the other bass drum much as i didn't have a lot of room in the house, but it was wicked when i did.

Excellent looking kit Ajay. Double kicks are so much more fun for transport! lol However, they're even funner when it comes to playing them! I much rather a double kick than a twin pedal any day

There were quite a few DW's there.

I walked past yours a few times and I reckon your massive kick drum was louder than mine.

Mine did get the attention a DW deserves though.

Lot's of "Nice kit mate" comments and loads of people taking pictures.

I was so proud Cool *wipes tear from eye*
