As I've just been reassured about loading, I'll be using a shiny black DW Kit, bringing full kit as I want some nice pics.

I'm going along with several colleagues who are all drummers, does anyone know how spaces are allocated or will it just be random places to set up?? Question Question

As I understand it, your load in time & place are allocated as per your entry number which is due to be sent out this Saturday along with all relevant info

I use to time myself putting up and down at gigs...
none of my kit is in cases and putting up i got down to 7 minutes and down 1hr 7 min that was after drinking the bar dry and talking shit to everyone who said the gig was amaizing lol! .
to make it easier for myself i always put racks on and carry it in whole both clamps are already attached........... so not much to do really... Did you ever see that sketch from lee evens about women who put up the push chair in three moves? thats me lol! lol! geek

What Kit

Post  P_Royale on Thu Jul 02, 2009 4:18 am

Hi
I'm using my one and only Black Premeir Royale, Bought it new around 1983 from Wigan (Harker & Howarth)?? I've not played it or even kept up to date with the drum scene for 10+ years, Hadn't realised it may be worth a few bob? Although all original hardware my snare stand is not like the one in the advert. Have just replaced the bass drum skin with an evans emad and the tom skins with evans G2's. I may call upon some of you to help me fine tune my kit coz like i have said not played for 10+ years.

Nice one, there are one or two Prems attending, well two are mine anyway!!, so a few more

I'm sure there'll be plenty of people around to give advice

Personally the only bass damping I ever use is a felt strip, never a duvet or cushions, let the drum sing, it aint a washing machine Wink

Look forward to seeing you

cheers cheers sunny sunny sunny

My Prem kit is from H&H also. I traded in an old Prem Kit that i got from Loot (old fasioned Ebay for the youngsters). I remember the bloke having a semi-on cos it was like a kit he used to own.
