no carpet - no problem
Hey drummers - if you are in a panic trying to get your paws on a piece of carpet worry no more. Here is a tip that could save you the hassle. String, yes all you need are two pieces of string from your drum throne to a bass drum lug and the Hi-Hat stand. So when you sit down to play your kit the kit slides a little, the string gets tight and as you are sitting down on the throne your weight stops it all moving.
I have seen this work and it saves lugging a carpet about.
