Guinness what happens next??
I'd just like to clarify what needs to happen with Guinness.
It was me that registerd my intent with Guinness to hold an event for the "Largest full drum kit ensemble"
If you wish to have them there there is a fee.. which we could not afford.
I therefore will submit video evidence of the ensemble in action ( I need to edit this to DVD this weekend) and we also need to written statements from our 2 witnesses in this case Hannah Chroston from the MS society and Fred Talbot from ITV.
They will varify that they attended the event and confirm that the registration form was signed by (in our case) 582 Drummers and that every kit met the Guinness minimum requirement.
I will send an email out and post on the site when it is varified by Guinness.

Re: Guinness what happens next??
Just out of interest, If or when the event gets apporoved by those lovely Guinness officials, would we all then be intitled to an official Guinness World Record certificate or one of those medals too?!
I know it's nice to have a certificate to say we "attempted" the record but if it's approved, i'd like proof from Guiness that i'm an official world record holder and i could pretty much guess the other 581 drummers would agree with me?!

Not sure if anyone reads this anymore, but if you do, does anyone have any idea if the record is ever going to be confirmed?
Re: Guinness what happens next??
6-8 weeks? Should be any time soon then?
I agree with Kev. It'd be great to have an official certificate of the event.
Also, I'd be happy pay a few quid and give a donation to the MS Society in exchange for a copy of the DVD...
