Anyone using DW Kits will be required to give more to charity, as they obviously have more money than sense!!!

Talking of which, if we pull it off, do we get a certificate or 'Jim'll Fix It' type badge. Or do they list all the names in the Big Book?
Oops sorry, forgot we were doing this for charity!!
Re: What kit are you using
My kit is now on my profile, but i'll leave some of the toys at home, and reduce it's footprint
As for what I'm wearing
That depends onwho how I feel on the day
Why have we got so many smilies?
OK, nuff

Thought you were going to be the one in the skirt??? 600 drummers all in a pink tutu that would make an interesting picture....
Re: What kit are you using
I'll be bringing a Mapex Mars 5 piece with 3 crash and a ride. As for wether Premier or Ludwig or DW are the best kits, I'm not fussed I like em all, as long as they have a good sound, and look fairly decent and yeah smileys

Let's face it, many of us joke about what is the best kit, But as long as they are drums, does it really matter!
I have played kits from all the major manufacturers and quite a few other custom kits
They all have their good and bad points and sadly, when mic'd up, they all pretty much sound the same
Though Premier are better

I'll use the Gretsch Catalina in Ash for this one - 8/10/12/14/22
Not sure which snare yet.
Sabian cymbals, again not sure which yet, but certainly Hats, a Crash, Ride, Splash & a China.

I concur with 2 statements - 'as long as they are drums, does it matter' and 'Premier are Better.'
Do have to say though, my first kit was an old premier one that i traded in for my current XPK. While i was waiting for it to arrive, i was kindly lent a Percussion Plus/Pro or something PP. It was absolute bobbins!! I'm sure its a great starter kit, and i know some people can't afford much, blah, blah, it it was like hitting a biscuit tin!!
So they don't all sound the same!!!
Rant over

I'm bringing my cowbell!!! We'll start a cowbell movement, see if we can get Ian Palmer an Karl Brazil on the ol' cowbell :D

Re: What kit are you using
What's this about all these Prems!?
I'm taking my trusty Yamaha Beech Custom.
I really wanna take my two bass drums and five toms because i never use them.
Ah well. A normal 4 shells will do me just fine.
